Earth, passion and enjoyment. Now in its third generation, this message is at the heart of the Sagmeister family, whose winery is enthroned at the highest point of the Eisenberg at around 440 metres above sea level, offering magnificent views of Styria and its Hungarian neighbour. In addition to their passion for the unique soil composition and the unspoiled nature of the region, as well as for quality wines, Hermann and Irma Sagmeister love and live the eventful culinary delights of their homeland. They give their wines the time they need to mature, especially the charismatic Blaufränkisch. The wines thank them with their authentic Eisenberg style. A special experience is the tasting of Sagmeister wines in the atmospheric wine cellar, where a 170-year-old wine press bears witness to the traditional wine-growing history of the Eisenberg.
